Seven of Swords: Moon in Aquarius

LORD OF UNSTABLE EFFORT

Seven of Swords (AI Version)

War was raging at the edges of the Tarot Realm. Nathan decided to head to the front lines to help drive back the invaders. When he arrived, he immediately rode out with a group of other knights to raid an enemy encampment, but before the attack commenced, Nathan witnessed a man stealing five swords from the enemy. The man was not in uniform and appeared more like a prankster or a clown than a soldier. Instead of becoming involved in the conflict, the man, who was smiling, seemed to be making some statement about war and dominance, but Nathan couldn't understand why the man was taking such a risk, for surely he would be executed if he were caught, and stealing a few swords really wouldn't make much difference as far as the war effort was concerned.
After the knights raided the encampment and drove the enemy back, Nathan, exhausted and slightly wounded, decided to find a place to rest. As he was heading toward one of the tents that was still standing, he encountered the King of Swords.

King of Swords (AI Version)

   Nathan bowed before the King.
"My brave knight, you are wounded. You should find a place to rest."
"Yes, your Highness, but I would like to ask a question first."
"You may ask your question, brave knight."
"Thank you, your Majesty. Before we raided the enemy encampment, I witnessed a man, who was not a soldier, stealing a few swords from the enemy. His act appeared foolish, and he seemed mentally unstable, but he was smiling as if he were fulfilling his duty or making a point of some kind. Why do you think a man would take such a risk, your Highness? Is he just a fool?"

"War is an act of dominance that often makes the masses feel righteous and strong, but it usually amounts to a few wealthy, powerful people stealing land and resources from others. In war, numerous people, often innocent women and children, are killed and harmed in terrible ways, and war poisons people on both sides of the conflict against each other for many years. I think I have encountered the man of whom you speak. He is very much like a court jester. Stealing a few swords seems foolish but reveals a way of neutralizing conflict. Instead of being a prankster or a fool, the man, I believe, is experiencing the influences of powerful spiritual forces. The man is part comedian and part priest who reveals spiritual principle in an unusual way by performing an absurd act. He is not afraid to look like a lunatic. Humor, brave knight, if performed effectively, forces people to reexamine their beliefs. His act of stealing is nothing compared to the terrible acts of plunder and murder and mayhem committed by people who want to dominate others and obtain more land and wealth. If our hearts were truly open and we experienced the divinity of all life, we would find every means possible to neutralize conflict instead of engaging in it, just as the holy man neutralizes dark forces to create balance. In the Tarot Realm, balance is the key. Sometimes as a knight you fight injustice and lawlessness and disorder, but as you act for the highest good of the realm, you also often neutralize conflict to create balance and stability. In other words, you find ways to remove the potential for negativity. Like our friend, you take risks in different situations for the highest good of the realm, and you deserve our thanks."
Nathan bowed. "I serve thee always, your Majesty."
The King responded, "Rest now, my valiant knight. We may soon require your skills once again."
After receiving some medical care, Nathan fell asleep in one of the tents, and after a few days of rest, he felt much better. As he was taking a walk in the forest, he remembered what the holy man in the castle had revealed to him. The Fool, the holy man said, reveals a kind of divine madness that can awaken greater spiritual awareness in other people. Many might dismiss the person as a lunatic, but some might feel their heart open and experience the descent of the divine. They might even for a few moments experience the marriage of heaven and earth. The holy man laid down the Seven of Swords. This card, he said, is associated with The Moon in Aquarius, which in the Tarot is associated with the High Priestess and The Star, as well as with Venus in Victory, the Emanation of the victory of love and harmony, represented by The Empress. When performing a ritual with the Tarot, he said, you can focus on the Tree of Life association, in this case Venus in Victory, and use the other cards, in this case The High Priestess and the Star, as modifiers. Love and the moon can cause lunacy, he said, but on the Tree of Life The Moon is associated with "The Descent of the Divine," and the Empress is associated with "The Marriage of Heaven and Earth." Combined with The Star, "The Opening of the Heart," we experience powerful spiritual energies that can neutralize or reduce conflict or turn a negative situation into a positive one. In the physical realm, neutralizing conflict or dark forces might look like an unstable or even clownish act, but on the spiritual level, it can be a heroic act that can have a powerful impact on the psyche of other people if you are acting from spiritual principles that help people to open the heart and know the divinity of all life and experience the marriage of heaven and earth.

The High Priestess: The Moon (AI Version)

The holy man had shown Nathan how to create a positive living image with The Empress at the center of the pentagram and The Star and the High Priestess as modifiers. The holy man had confided that The Empress is one of the best cards in the deck because it reveals the Marriage of Heaven and Earth. The Empress, he said, is associated with Path Fourteen on the Tree of Life, which connects Wisdom with Understanding, as well as with the Emanation of the Victory of love, which is associated with Venus.

                          The Star: Aquarius (AI Version)

So much divine feminine energy, he said, neutralizes the baneful masculinity that so often leads to conflict and can provide the understanding that domination is a way to rob people in one way or another, of their dignity or their property, for instance, and ends up being extremely negative and destructive in most cases.

The Empress: Venus (AI Version)

Nathan found a rock in a secluded part of the forest that he could use as a makeshift altar. First, he performed the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. Then he performed the first eleven steps of the Supreme Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram. Then he got ready to create a living image of the The Empress, with The Star and The High Priestess as modifiers, in his Tarot Pentagram Spread.

Active and Passive Invoking Pentagrams

Since The Empress and the two modifiers are associated with the Seven of Swords, and the suit of Swords is an active element, Nathan used the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram while laying down the foundation cards, starting in the lower right corner of the pentagram, moving to the upper left corner and continuing from there. After he placed all of the cards, he tapped each card in the direction of the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram, making sure to tap the Ace of Wands in the lower right corner to complete the pentagram.

Foundation Cards with The Empress

Then Nathan placed The Empress in the middle of the pentagram, saying, "The Empress, the Marriage of Heaven and Earth," and tapped the card. Then he placed first The Star, associated with the zodiac sign Aquarius, then The High Priestess, associated with The Moon, on the Ace of Swords and tapped both. As he placed The Star on the Ace of Swords, he said, "The Star, Aquarius, the opening of the heart." As he placed The High Priestess on The Star, he said, "The High Priestess, The Moon, the descent of the divine."

Pentagram for Spirit

Then he drew the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram and the spirit wheel in brilliant white above The Empress on the altar, charging the pentagram and the symbol in the usual way with the Sign of the Enterer. After that, he drew an Invoking Pentagram for the element of Air directly over the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram, charging the pentagram and the symbol with the Sign of the Enterer.

Invoking Pentagram for Air

At that point, he imagined the symbol of Aquarius becoming the living image of The Empress. He imagined the living image moving a few feet east of the altar and coming alive as Venus, a powerful feminine force creating the marriage of heaven and earth through the opening of the heart and the descent of the divine. Nathan remembered that The High Priestess is deeply connected with all the Paths on the Tree of Life, which helped him feel the marriage of heaven and earth, for he knew that all divine energies exist within his personal consciousness, as well as within the Universal Consciousness. As he visualized the living image of The Empress, he imagined that sylphs, brilliant points of light, flowed from the Archangel Raphael and filled the living image of The Empress while at the same time tiny points of gleaming light emanated from his aura and filled the living image as well.
He said again, "The Empress, the marriage of heaven and earth."

Modifying Cards for The Empress

Then he said, "Great Venus, awaken my heart so that I feel the descent of the divine and experience the marriage of heaven and earth and have the understanding and wisdom and love to serve the realm for the highest possible good."
Then he stated, "Perform this task and then return to the bosom of nature, doing no harm." He ended by exclaiming, "So mote it be!" Then he imagined for a few minutes the living image of The Empress engulfing him in light and awakening his heart and mind to the marriage of the spiritual and the physical, the marriage of heaven and earth.
He unexpectedly felt the light of understanding and wisdom and love often afterwards, and he sensed once again that his higher self was always guiding him.

Nathan finished the Supreme Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram with the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.

Six of Cups: Sun in Scorpio

LORD OF PLEASURE

Six of Cups (AI Version)

As Nathan was meditating in his small room in the castle, he remembered when he first met Mr. Mellifluous in the Tarot Realm. Mr. Mellifluous could hear music in Nathan's heart and immediately made Nathan a knight. Then Mr. Mellifluous vanished into the brush, leaving Nathan to find his way alone through the wilderness to the castle in the Tarot Realm.

After Mr. Mellifluous disappeared, Nathan wandered through the pathless forest. Soon, Nathan found a bear scratching its back against a tree. The bear then climbed up the tree and knocked down a beehive. The bear suddenly noticed Nathan and began descending the tree. Nathan dashed through the forest until he came to a path. He paused for breath, hoping the bear wasn't still chasing him. Suddenly, Nathan saw a mountain lion staring at something near the path. Then the wildcat pounced and sauntered away with a squirrel in its teeth. Nathan backed away slowly, hoping the wildcat was focused entirely on its meal. Then Nathan heard the howl of wolves nearby. He galloped away in the opposite direction, away from the path, and eventually came to a clearing where he could see a castle in the distance.
After awhile, Nathan came to the front gate of the castle. As he approached, a small man was handing a golden cup with flowers to a young girl, who was overjoyed at receiving such a gift. After encountering the wild beasts in the forest, Nathan found this loving act of giving and receiving a welcome change.
As Nathan was entering the castle, the guard at the front gate stopped him. "What is your business here?" the guard inquired.
Nathan was not quite sure how to respond, so he stammered, "Mr. Mellifluous sent me to serve the King and Queen."
The guard responded, "You may enter."
As Nathan entered the castle, a page approached him and said, "I will take you to the King now. We must walk through the castle and down a long flight of stairs to the ocean."

King of Cups

The page escorted Nathan down the cliff to the ocean, where they found the King of Cups. Nathan bowed. "How may I serve thee, my King?"
The King stared at Nathan. "You must be new, my devoted knight. Did Mr. Mellifluous send you?"
   Nathan responded, "Yes, your Majesty."
"Very well," the King responded. "Ah, yes, I can hear the music in your heart. Mr. Mellifluous always exercises good judgment. We must find you a suit of armor and some pentacles and swords and cups and wands since you are going to serve the Tarot Realm. I will send for the holy man as well, for he can teach you many sacred principles."
"Thank you, your Majesty. I am always at your service. Your Highness, may I ask you a question?"
Still balancing his scepter straight up and down, the King smiled and nodded his head.
"At the front gate of the castle, I noticed a man giving a golden cup and flowers to a young girl. Are people always so loving here at the castle?"
"Occasionally scalawags and knaves and miscreants find their way into the Tarot Castle, of course, but many people here have learned to live with love and compassion. You obviously have found your way through the wilderness to get here, which only a brave knight would do alone. Many other people have somehow found their way through the wilderness and now, because of their struggles, feel compassion and reverence for other people--even if those people appear to be unlike them. They realize the importance of giving and receiving because this realm is always in flux. Profound and disruptive changes often occur. Most people here provide help because they know that one day they might need to receive help from others. Here, we emphasize respect for otherness, for the flowers and trees and even the wild beasts in the wilderness. Through harmonizing love and sacrifice, we neutralize the dark forces that make us vulnerable. We revere the sun, the source of all life in our realm, and we revere the great tapestry of life created by the sun and the Sun behind the sun, the fields upon fields of interconnected energy in our realm and throughout the cosmos. We respect all of creation and each other. To do otherwise would lead to destruction of the realm. To do otherwise would be irresponsible and insane, for everything is connected."
Nathan worked with the holy man in the castle for many weeks. One day the holy man showed Nathan how to create a positive living image with The Sun. The holy man had confided that The Sun is one of the best cards in the deck because it reveals the awakening of the mind on two levels: The intellectual level and the spiritual level. The Sun, he said, is associated with Path 30 on the Tree of Life, which connects The Foundation with Splendor, the Emanation of the intellect which is associated with Mercury. The Sun is also associated with the Emanation of Beauty, the spiritual center on the Tree of Life of harmonizing love and sacrifice.

The Sun (AI Version)

Nathan found a card in his Tarot deck that resembled what he had witnessed in front of the castle, the Six of Cups, a card associated with The Sun in Scorpio. The holy man had told Nathan that Scorpio represents profound transformation and change. Nathan did not want to deal with that in his ritual. Instead he wanted to focus on the awakening of the mind on both the mental and spiritual levels, an awakening that leads to harmonizing love and compassion as well as the understanding of the need for sacrifice to create balance.
First, he performed the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. Then he performed the first eleven steps of the Supreme Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram. Then he got ready to create a living image of the The Sun with the Tarot Pentagram Spread.

Active and Passive Invoking Pentagrams

Since The Sun is associated with Leo and Fire is an active element, he used the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram while laying down the foundation cards, starting in the lower right corner of the pentagram, moving to the upper left corner and continuing from there. After he placed all of the cards, he tapped each card in the direction of the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram, making sure to tap the one in the position of Fire in the lower right corner to complete the pentagram.

Foundation Cards with The Sun

Then he placed The Sun in the middle of the pentagram, saying, "The Sun, the awakening of the mind," and tapped the card.

Pentagram for Spirit

Then he drew the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram and the spirit wheel in brilliant white above The Sun on the altar, charging the pentagram and the symbol in the usual way with the Sign of the Enterer. After that, he drew an Invoking Pentagram for Fire directly over the Active Invoking Spirit Pentagram, charging the pentagram and the symbol with the Sign of the Enterer.

Invoking Pentagram for Fire

At that point, he imagined the symbol of Leo becoming the living image of The Sun. He imagined the living image moving a few feet south of the altar and coming alive as a powerful force. As he visualized the living image of The Sun, he imagined that salamanders, brilliant points of light, flowed from the Archangel Michael and filled the living image while at the same time tiny points of fiery light emanated from his aura and filled the living image as well.
He stated, "The Sun, the awakening of the mind."
Then he said, "Great Sun, awaken my intellect and my spirit for the highest possible good of this realm."
Then he stated, "Perform this task and then return to the element of Fire, doing no harm." He ended by exclaiming, "So mote it be!" Then he imagined for a few minutes the living image of The Sun engulfing him in light and awakening his mind and spirit.
He unexpectedly felt the light of The Sun often afterwards, and he sensed that his higher self was always guiding him.

Nathan finished the Supreme Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram with the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.

Four of Cups: Moon in Cancer

LORD OF BLENDED PLEASURE

Four of Cups (AI Version)

Nathan stopped to rest in the shade under a tree after a long day of protecting the realm. He took several deep breaths to relax his mind and tune to the peace beyond understanding emanating from the tree. Suddenly he had a vision of a hand that extended from a cloud and offered him a golden cup. He had experienced visions before during meditation but never with his eyes wide open. The vision seemed more real than the grass around him. The realm seemed at that moment to be amorphous and always in flux, like a cloud, but the golden cup seemed real and eternal. He thought for a moment that he might be going crazy, so he mounted his horse and rode toward the sea. He was happy to find Claire with the Queen of Cups. Nathan hadn't seen Claire in a long time, and he could still hear the music in her heart. Claire and the Queen were both staring at a golden cup.

Claire with the Queen of Cups (3D Version)

Nathan bowed. "Your Majesty, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have a question."
Still staring at the cup, the Queen responded, "Yes, my friend, what is your question?"
"Your Majesty, I just had a vision of a golden cup floating in front of me. My eyes were wide open, but the golden cup seemed more real than our world. How can that possibly be? I hope I am not going crazy, your Majesty."
"My valiant knight, you were experiencing spirit vision. You have developed yourself spiritually so that with your third eye you can see the eternal symbols associated with the subtle spiritual realms--even when your physical eyes are wide open. Throughout the ages, a few people who have purified their mind and heart and soul can see these eternal symbols, and people continue to see them in parts of the world that are far away from each other and seemingly unconnected. In a way, these symbols are more real than the temporal world because they symbolize eternal spiritual principle. The balanced cross, for instance, had appeared to people as a symbol of harmony and integration in other realms many, many years before you and I were ever born. In one realm, the balanced cross might be placed on top of a pyramid to represent the harmony of spirit within the physical world. In another realm, the balanced cross might be placed within a circle to represent the harmony of the spirit within eternity. Claire and I were just having a spirit vision of a golden-equal armed cross with Archangels at each end. People have created powerful rituals based on that symbol to heal us and help us develop spirit vision. I'm sure the holy man in the castle has shown you. Perhaps you already perform these rituals yourself."
"Yes, your Highness, the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, and the Supreme Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram."
"Very good, and I'm sure the holy man in the castle has guided you through a mental purification process as well."
"Yes, your Highness, I have mentally cleansed the powerful subtle energy centers within my aura."
"Other people with spirit vision have envisioned those powerful subtle centers as well. The Tree of Life is an expanded version of the chakra system, for instance. People who perform spiritual practices can develop spirit vision and hear wise voices and experience profound intuitions. They are not crazy, my dear knight, anymore than you are. A few ignorant people might believe that you are crazy, however, because they are mired in negativity or can't see beyond the physical realm into the subtle spiritual realms. The Tarot, as you probably know by now, enables you to develop your spirit vision. The Four of Cups, with The Moon in Cancer, is a card for that purpose."
"Yes, your Majesty, the holy man in the castle has taught me well, which might be why I unexpectedly had the vision of the golden cup floating in front of me while I was resting under a tree, but I have to admit that I was bit startled."
"A few people like you have had visions while sitting under a tree and changed the world with their philosophies. Don't forget the lessons the holy man has taught you: meditate and perform your rituals and release the negativity that builds up within the subtle energy field that surrounds your body due to the negativity of other people and the world. I am so happy that you are freeing yourself from negativity and are developing the spirit vision, my dear knight."

The Chariot: Cancer (AI Version)

Nathan bowed again. "Thank you, your Majesty, as always, I will heed your sage advice." Then Nathan mounted his horse and rode to a secluded part of the forest where he could perform a ritual with the Tarot card known as The Chariot, associated with Cancer, and The High Priestess, associated with The Moon, both of which are associated with the Four of Cups. The central figure in The Chariot is on a spirit quest, and the High Priestess helps him to connect with all of the subtle energies of the paths of the Tree of Life.

The High Priestess: The Moon (AI Version)

Because Nathan was creating a living image based on the Four of Cups with the Tarot Pentagram Spread, he placed all the foundation cards down on his makeshift altar with the tops facing west on his altar. Since Water is a passive element, Nathan used the Passive Invoking Spirit Pentagram while laying down the cards, starting in the lower left corner of the pentagram, moving to the upper right corner and continuing from there. After he placed all of the cards, he tapped each card in the direction of the Passive Invoking Spirit Pentagram, making sure to tap the one in the lower left corner to complete the pentagram.

Foundation Cards with The Chariot

He placed The Chariot in the middle of the pentagram, saying, "The Chariot, the Once and Future Monarch." Then he tapped the card.

Modifier for the Four of Cups: The High Priestess (The Moon)

Then he placed The High Priestess on the Ace of Cups in the upper right hand corner of the pentagram as a modifier. As he placed The High Priestess on the Ace of Cups he stated while tapping the card, "The High Priestess, The Moon, the Descent of the Divine."

Invoking Pentagram for the Element of Water

Then Nathan drew the Passive Invoking Spirit Pentagram and the spirit wheel in the air in brilliant white above The Chariot on the altar, charging the pentagram and the symbol in the usual way with the Sign of the Enterer. After that, he drew an Invoking Pentagram for Water directly over the Passive Invoking Spirit Pentagram, charging the pentagram and the symbol of the eagle's head in the usual way. At that point, he imagined the symbol of the eagle's head becoming the living image of the figure in The Chariot. Then he imagined the figure moving a few feet west of his altar and coming alive as a full-length figure. As he visualized the living image of the Tarot card, he imagined undines flowing from the Archangel Gabriel and filling the living image while at the same time the bright points of element of Water flowed from his aura and filled the living image as well.
Then he stated, "I name you Once and Future Monarch, who abides eternally and returns to this realm with knowledge of the divine," which is a spiritual principle associated with the card.
Then he said, "From thy holy chariot in the subtle realms, help me to develop my spirit vision as I continue my quest for the highest possible good for myself and others," emphasizing one of the main spiritual principles revealed in the card.
Then he commanded, "Perform this task, then return to the element of Water, doing no harm. So mote it be!"
Before he finished the ritual, Nathan imagined for a few minutes the living image of the figure in The Chariot helping him on his quest through the subtle spiritual realms. Then he ended the Supreme Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram with the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.
Nathan began to have more visions of spiritual symbols afterwards, and he knew that his new ally was helping him.

Six of Pentacles: Moon in Taurus

LORD OF MATERIAL SUCCESS

Six of Pentacles (AI Version)

As Nathan was riding through the realm, he noticed a knight giving golden coins to beggars. Nathan knew that the knight had been severely wounded in a battle a few years before but had somehow managed to recover. Nathan's heart was touched, but he was confused about why the knight was holding a weighing scale in his left hand as if measuring the worth of each beggar.

King of Pentacles (3D Version)

Nathan came upon the King of Pentacles near the castle. Nathan dismounted and bowed before the King. "I serve thee always, great King, but I have a question."
The King responded, "Yes, dear knight, what is your question?"
"I just witnessed a courageous knight who was once horribly wounded in battle giving his money away to beggars in the street. Why would such a vulnerable man do that?"
"In this realm, my dear knight, we can all be brought low by disease or misfortune. As a knight, I am sure you are keenly aware that you can be crippled in battle and even become a beggar yourself. Through our misfortunes, we come to understand the meaning of sacrifice, and we develop compassion. We realize that we are all vulnerable. Your fellow knight was performing an act of compassion and personal sacrifice to bring balance to society, not just to the individuals begging for assistance. Poverty unfortunately prevails in the realm despite the fact that each one of us is a divine spiritual being. Each one of us contains the holy Tree of Life within us: Universal Consciousness exists within each individual consciousness. We have a duty to feed and shelter and clothe the poor because all life is divine, all energy is holy. We are each like the moon that reflects the sun, the source of all physical life. The moon is sometimes full and sometimes dark. You cannot say that one person is better than another just because they have more wealth. In truth, many poor people have greater spiritual understanding than the wealthy because the poor have experienced the darker phases of life, which might include terrible suffering and misfortune.

"Your fellow knight understands that you can be nearly obliterated as a human being but in the process transcend human consciousness and know Universal Consciousness.
"The life-force is constantly in a state of flux but creates and maintains balance. Balance is achieved on the human level in the physical realm through understanding and compassion, and each individual can be a co-creator with Universal Consciousness to create balance. Unfortunately some people disrupt that harmony because of their own self-interest. Nevertheless, the life-force tends to reward those who strive for harmony and balance and mastery. I know that as a knight you are striving for mastery, just as an artisan or musician or alchemist or mason strives for mastery. You might not be rewarded with numerous bags of gold, but through mastery you can attain a type of inner satisfaction that surpasses the shallow gratification associated with accumulating piles of wealth. Sometimes other people interfere, but the life-force tends to reward those who make the intention and effort to attain mastery and maintain harmony. Each person has the potential to achieve harmony and mastery, but many are thwarted by poverty, abuse, trauma, betrayal, disease, loss, and war. Your fellow knight was showing that we need to carry compassion for others within us as much as humanly possible in order to create and maintain harmony within ourselves and society."

The Hierophant (AI Version)

Nathan thanked the King and rode away to a secluded place in the forest where he could perform a ritual. The holy man in the castle had revealed that The High Priestess and the Hierophant are both deeply connected to all the paths of the Tree of Life and therefore complement each other. The High Priestess, he said, represents the female spiritual aspect of the psyche, and the Hierophant represents the male spiritual aspect of the psyche, and together they represent a deep connection, as The Moon and The Sun, with all of the paths of the Tree of Life.

The High Priestess: The Moon (AI Version)

They are brought together in the Six of Pentacles, The Moon in Taurus, a card also associated with the Emanation of The Sun known as Tiphareth, or Beauty, the Christ-center of sacrifice and compassion and harmonizing love.

Modifier for the Six of Pentacles: The High Priestess (The Moon)

Since Earth is a passive element, Nathan used the Passive Invoking Spirit Pentagram while laying down the foundation cards, the Aces, starting in the lower left corner of the pentagram, moving to the upper right corner and continuing from there. After he placed all of the cards, he tapped each card in the direction of the Passive Invoking Spirit Pentagram, making sure to tap the one in the lower left corner to complete the pentagram. Then he placed The Hierophant in the middle of the pentagram. Then he placed the modifier, The High Priestess, on the Ace of Pentacles in the lower left hand corner of the pentagram.
As he placed The High Priestess on the Ace of Pentacles, he said while tapping the card, "The High Priestess, The Moon."

Pentagram for the Element of Earth

Then he drew the Passive Invoking Spirit Pentagram and the spirit wheel in the air in brilliant white above the Six of Pentacles on the altar, charging the pentagram and the spirit wheel in the usual way with the Sign of the Enterer. After that, he drew an Invoking Pentagram for Earth directly over the Invoking Spirit Pentagram, charging the pentagram and the symbol of Taurus in the usual way. At that point, he imagined the symbol of the bull's head becoming the living image of The Hierophant. Then he imagined gnomes flowing from the Archangel Auriel and filling the living image while at the same time the bright points of the Earth element flowed from his aura and filled the living image as well.
Then he said, "I name you Hierophant, Taurus, keeper of wisdom," which is a spiritual principle associated with the card. Then he tapped the modifier and said, "The High Priestess, The Moon, the descent of the divine."
Then he said, "Through my higher self, help me know the Tree of Life more fully and deal with human vulnerability with compassion, and help me to create harmony and balance in myself and within the realm."
Then he stated, "Perform this task and return to the element of Earth, doing no harm. So mote it be!"
He imagined for a few minutes the living image of the Six of Pentacles filling him with compassion and the ability to create harmony and balance in the realm. He, of course, performed the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram before he completed the ritual.
After the ritual, Nathan realized as he rode through the realm that he felt more compassion for others, and he made a lasting vow to strive for greater harmony and balance.
